Restorative Rest and Sound Balancing

This class combines the healing benefits of Restorative Rest and Sound Healing. Restorative poses are bending and opening positions that are held in comfort using blankets, bolsters and blocks. They are held for 2-10 minutes to allow the fascia, muscles, joints and mind to unwind and relax. It can be an exhilaration feeling to have tension released in this way. 

We layer over this the balancing sounds of various professional sound healers. The frequencies of sound assist in bringing the mind to a meditative state, and also steers the body to balance and ease.
