The health benefits of drumming are many: reduced stress, tension and anxiety, increased immune function, alleviate chronic pain, help with depression and more. We tried out some drumming with guided (Nia) dancing on Tuesday evening August 21. We found it to be exhilarating and fun. Each drum had its own vibration and association with a different energy center in our bodies. It was interesting to see which drum we were each drawn to. We plan to make this a monthly activity and have scheduled another one for September 11. Mark your calendars! See for yourself the joy we experienced.
