Cheryl has been practicing yoga for more than 25 years. Several years ago, she completed the 200 and 500-hour yoga teacher training programs, enabling her to share the wonderful benefits of a yoga practice with others. She has been teaching Vinyasa classes regularly since 2014.
A current health researcher and consultant with a Ph.D. in experimental psychology, she has explored in-depth the many barriers and facilitators to physical health and mental well-being. She is an eternal student, and is always seeking to bring the wisdom of the yoga tradition into the physical practice on the mat in a creative way. Along the way, she incorporates the principles from evidence-based research on mind-body integration into her approach. Her goal is to guide each student into a practice that nourishes, builds strength, creates balance, and provides a sense of total well-being.
